Shotgun Sports At The Blue Hills Sportsman Club

Whether you are a new shooter or experienced, trap at the Blue Hills Sportsman Club will offer you both excitement and competition. Our trap range has a five-station heated 5 stand sporting clay house line-up and automatic launcher.

There are 3 standard trap houses, 1 wobble trap, 1 skeet range and sporting clays course for use by shotgun enthusiasts.  The club accommodates several trap teams that compete annually during the 16 week trap league.

Trap, skeet, and sporting clay shooters are welcome to shoot year-round.  Enjoy our heated fun house for winter shooting practice.  This sporting clay event is held every Sunday from 10:00am to 3:00pm from December through March.  Trap League shoots are held Tuesday and Thursday nights from April 29th through August 21st.  The Sporting Clays shoots are held Wednesday nights from April 30th through October 15th, starting at 5pm.  These shoots are open to the public, so feel free to take advantage of this offer to shoot a great round of trap and take a look around our club.

We often take new shooters under our wing and instruct them on proper gun handling as well teach them the sport of trap shooting. So, please, do not feel hesitant to come and ask for help. You will always find the members of BHSC kind and courteous.
